With approximately 300 days of sunshine each year, it may come as no surprise that Arizona is home to six of the 30 happiest cities in America, according to a recent WalletHub analysis. Even better, several Southeast Valley communities earned impressive spots near the top of the list.
WalletHub compared more than 180 of the largest cities in the country using 29 indicators connected to happiness and overall quality of life. These included emotional and physical well being, income growth, employment, commute times, community connections, and the amount of leisure time residents enjoy.

No. 14: Chandler
No. 20: Tempe
No. 23: Peoria
No. 29: Mesa
