The Mission Is Coming to Gilbert’s Epicenter at Agritopia

ree

Get ready, Gilbert, The Mission, one of the Valley’s most celebrated modern Latin restaurants, is expanding east. Soon, Epicenter at Agritopia will be home to the hallmarks that have made The Mission a Scottsdale and Downtown Phoenix favorite: candle-lit interiors, a glowing Himalayan salt brick wall, and the aroma of fresh tortillas being pressed in-house daily.

The Mission is known for pairing bold Latin flavors with dramatic design and a refined yet welcoming vibe. Expect their signature tableside Mission Guacamole, handcrafted tortillas, and an agave-forward cocktail program that celebrates everything from smoky mezcal to crisp tequila spritzes.

Chef Matt Carter’s menu has earned loyal fans for dishes that balance richness and freshness — think pork shoulder slow-roasted in achiote and pineapple, filet mignon tacos, Peruvian-style ceviche, and churros with espresso dipping sauce. Each plate blends classic Latin techniques with modern flair, designed to be shared, savored, and remembered.

With Epicenter quickly becoming one of the East Valley’s most dynamic culinary destinations, The Mission’s arrival feels like a perfect match — where community, craft, and cuisine meet.

Stay tuned for opening details… and prepare to raise a glass (of mezcal) to Gilbert’s next great dining experience.
